Throttle body connector

Hi Guys,
Can anyone tell me what the connector is for in the images?
I have been hunting for a cause of battery drain and thus was disconnected.

Hi Guys,
I have battery drain in my E1. If I leave it a few days the battery is dead.
I hook up a meter tonight in series between the negative battery terminal and negative lead.
This was showing 2A after about 30 mins.

I pulled the 20A ECI fusible link in the engine bay fuse box and the current dropped straight down to 6mA.

Any ideas where this goes and what I can start pulling to check?
