Nice.
Did the 4G64 crank drop straight into the 63 block?
What capacity does that bring it to?
Crank essentially drops straight in , the only part is a little bit of clearancing on some castings on one part of the block the rod bolt just touches it.
It takes it out to a 2.3L im not sure what the exact rod and piston specs are glen did all the number crunching

running scat rods , wiseco pistons , and a 4g64 crank
it looks really scabby at the moment but when its up and running its being driven to my work on a permit for its paint job , we still have a fair amount of work to do but slow and steady wins the race.
Hopefully we can hit 12s of the trailer

I contacted him not long ago to see if he would like to run coz not many fwds around , so he might be keen on a grudge race. Glen will be racing against him if it eventuates to get a little pay back for fucking up the engine in his gto the blaming him saying he jacked it on the sump and blocked the pick up hahahaha . We are not big rpw fans !!!

It can be done , look in members rides for widebody zr4 by jayrome. He has done it , im doin a gsr drag car at the moment but leaving it fwd . After much crawling around under there weve come to the conclusion it really wouldnt be that hard to do , the main thing we can see is the fuel tank and spare wheel well being a problem. Plus you will need to use the vr4 front k frame as its a diff shape to acomadate awd setup. I f you have the vr4 sitting there im sure it would be straight forward , id unpick the wheel well from vr4 and spot weld it in gsr and use vr4 tank then hit up jayromes build thread to see how he mounted the rear diff assembly

seal the inlet to afm with very thick plastic , put engine at tdc and fill the whole system with air that will tell you if you have leaks pre turbo and also any boost leaks too. Id do this before mechanic gets it so you can tell them its not vacum or boost related
