#328392 "Official" 4GTuner Members Power list

Posted by rock_it on 12 March 2016 - 01:38 AM

My latest..

B353C3EF-5417-4A60-986D-EB08CA3770B9_zps

That was mine.. Have only upgraded fuel pump since, but nothing else.. Would like to see how she is still going, and if tune needs altering..

Owner: Craig
Car: lancer cc gsr
Engine: 4G63
Driveline: AWD
Boost: 20psi (safe tune - holding constant boost - ref above)
Fuel: E10
NOS: no
Dyno: Dynamics
Power: 249kw
Torque: 453nm
Mods: Forged and rebuilt engine, EMS ECU, Flex fuel, GT30, Hyoertune intake, HKS 272 cams, Tomei adj Cam Gears, and a whole lot more.

Dyno above was done in RWD mode as no access to AWD Dyno and needed to tune. Would be interested to see what it pulls AWD.

I was lazy and just placed there... But if you went to the effort, you could make it fit a little better...

Just a member concerned about your safety of driving on shocks that someone has changed because they are old an warn out.

Have you priced up something like KYB shocks new? And just a stock spring... It will probably be around double the cost of second hand shocks, but will be a safer option... And will be a pleasure to drive on again ..

#320716 Davis Craig Thermo Fans - 14" & 10" - NSW

Posted by rock_it on 07 August 2015 - 02:08 AM

Off topic but what fans do you plan on using mate?

I also just got a 3 core PWR one... tis a thick mofo!

I can't remember what brand they were .. Got my mechanic to pick them .. These would have fit, if my manifold was redesigned. But was cheaper to do the fans.

Will you settle $75 shipped to Brisbane 4113?

$75 is a bargain as is .. I think the 14" sells for around $150-$180 ... Be it these are second hand, but you are getting two fans here ..

#316453 E85 Flexfuel conversion?

Posted by rock_it on 22 April 2015 - 09:56 PM

I am the king of overkill ...

Car goes in for a PWR radiator as I blew the stock one... Nek minnit ... $5k+ worth of parts purchased and installed...

For sure...

Still gotta get a full tune with the E85 and different maps ... So will be looking to hire out a Dyno somewhat local ... This is where I am currently stuck ... :(

and well, the funds ... Latest round of upgrades has set me back .. Well, lets say over 5k in parts and miscellaneous things... :( :(

Haven't yet said this to the wife... I think I may round it down to 3k ... That will probably make things a little more pleasant at home...

Turbosmart type 2 atmo venting bov too?

Don't tell me you also have chromies? lol

  ... I mean, not anymore... B)

Did have HP Chrome wheels.. But not like dinner plates... They were 5 spoke, so didn't look tacky.. I took them off the Sonata when I ripped the engine and everything out of it... I knew I was going to do the 5 stud conversion, so didn't want to have to buy new wheels, then new ones again when I went 5 stud... It just took me a lot longer to go 5 stud as I never drove the car anyway ...

But have Enkei RP-01's on it now...

Hoon↑

LOL!

If I was, I would never had gotten away with my setup ... Heheheh... I must have always passed the asshole test, so even though the cops would ask for Engineer Certificate, they were not real tough on things...

Looks good...

I think I still prefer the clear indicators tho... Just put a chrome bulb in the housing ... And Bam ...

I have contemplated for many years going back to orange .... but think it just looks cleaner clear... But JMO... :)
