1997 RVR HSG-R

 

 

So it's time to say goodbye to my RVR, I'll set about listing all the goodies it has and also try to explain all the fabricating work I have done over the past

 

couple of years of ownership

 

 

The list of parts:

 

Apexi AVC-R boost controller - can set boost and duty every 500rpm, set it by gear, and it can auto learn. It makes my 25g spool so close to a 16g

 

Water to air intercooler  with reserve tank in the back of the car, cobra pump that can be run at 100% duty, custom W/A radiator in the front, temp gauge

 

Speed Density

 

Evo 8 MR BOV

 

ECMLink V3 lite - read up on this, it is an under rated bit of tuning software. Mathias Boldt uses it in his 1100hp + 4g colt in Germany. This will come with  

 

                             transfer of ownership to access the knowledge base within the ECMLink site.

 

Battery relocation  to rear of car vented to outside and with a custom carpeted cover for a stock style look

 

R34 GTR V-Spec 328mm front rotors   with 4 pot calipers and fresh pads

 

Evo 8 wheels  with 80% tread on tyres

 

TD06-25g Kinugawa turbo with custom 3" dump pipe, 40mm ext. WG merging just before firewall, heat wrapped

 

3 inch mandrel exhaust with dump before 1 3/4 inch dummy pipe. I have a big arse cannon that was originally on it that will go with this car

 

Tinted windows legal tint

 

Keyless entry with imobilizer custom mounted with deflection plates inside the door to deter theft

 

Kenwood head unit bluetooth conectivity for hands free calls, sony splits in the front doors, custom modification and sound deadening and sealed door.

 

JVC 600 watt amp installed under passenger seat

 

12 inch JVC sub in a custom .9cu. ft carpeted box

 

Lowered springs - Pedders, YAY. They do the job, looks good and has 2.5 neg camber on front, corners well

 

Veyron inspired paint scheme and a.......................PFFFFFT, who am I kidding, it looks like someone yakked up a kebab or two on it on the way home from

 

a night of debauchery, but it has no roof rust. I can supply Sophia white and materials to return it to factory colour if wanted.

 

Due to liability the car will be de-registered, but I will pay for a permit if needed.

As per my post in the RVR section, here are the parts available.

 

 

I am open to offers, but make them sensible. On acceptance of price payment/deposit is expected within 24 hours otherwise the parts aren't yours. Likewise any money owing will be paid in the agreed

 

time or a refund will be automatically made and the parts will be relisted. Nothing will be sent without full payment.

First off, the Aldo built auto box and conversion has sold, in 5 minutes.

 

 

New unused BC 280 cams                                      $402 - Sold

 

New in box AEM 23-830BK TRUTIME cam gears    $321 - Sold

 

New in box AEM 25-302BK FPR                              $160 - Sold

 

New Race Equipment Degree wheel                        $25 - Sold

 

Used Power Enterprise 1000cc injectors                 $320 - Sold

 

Used Evo 8 beehive springs incl. retainers             $85 - Unavailable, sold with cyl. head

 

Used HKS twin plate clutch, needs rebuild which would cost about $900 last time I checked, which includes custom disc material. It would be good for a display piece so will be priced as such

 

$110 - used as decoration in mate's bar room :-P

 

 

Now the engine: Sold as a package, I won't split it up due to the machining and test fit.

 

This is a genuine Evo 3 block, there are some minor differences compared to an RVR block, so this would be for a traditionalist. It is offered as a short engine, block, pistons, rods and crank.

 

The ingredients: CP 84-2A forged pistons, Eagle rods, Eagle knife edged crank std stroke, ACL race series bearings with custom relief work done, ARP head studs and mains.

 

 

Important:  The block has been hot tanked, crack tested, line honed and torque honed and had a balance shaft delete. The rods have been honed. The entire rotating assembly has been

 

balanced, pistons, rods and crank (new parts are not balanced to the specs that these are, it is evident upon looking at the material removed, and of course an accurate scale)  All parts were

 

test fitted. All performed at Jack Bros at a cost of $1650 + 100 for the bearings 

 

The pistons have been ceramic coated and dry film sided at Thermal Edge

Selling up

I'm out guys, the whole lot is getting sold.

 

 

There is a complicated and sad story to accompany it..................nah just messin' with ya, I'm just bored with it all. There is no scene here, and driving 400ish ks to a track is as horrible as watching a

 

fat chick trying to get sunscreen on to parts of herself that shouldn't be out in the open anyway.

 

I will list all the stuff in a for sale thread over the next few days, and I will use proper tags instead of the immature ones I'm famous for.

 

Keep an eye out for it all, most of the parts are not specific to an RVR..............except the RVR itself, that is very specific to an RVR.
