Yes Aussie hip hop is a joke. Tupac's lyrics were insane better than Biggies but biggie had awesome flow. IMO they both some of the best rappers just for different reasons.

any of you guys heard of immortal technique? some really sick flo there the rhymes he comes up with are pretty respectable...
his raps are all on controversial topics...very interesting...my favourites by him are dance with the devil, internally bleeding, poverty of philosophy, cause of death, caught in the hustle,industrial revolution, and peruvian cocaine.
lil wayne is good i agree, but ever heard of godsgift? sway, the outlawz?
what you guys think of uk hip hop? i agree...aussie hip hop is a bit awkward but uk is quite good...

Anyway, I'm not big on the US based hip hop, not the gangster rap anyway... I do love acts like Tribe, De La Soul, Jurassic 5, etc.

Some Aussie hip hop is a bit of a joke, especially the guys that rap with an American accent, but there are definitely a few standouts - Muph & Plutonic, Bliss n Eso, Downsyde, etc.

I was a bit taken aback when I listened to the Plan B album the first time, but there are some interesting stories on there. It was my favourite album for quite a while.

immortal technique is good man, i got almost all his tracks.
some really contrevisial stuff and probably the only guy that could spit a spoken word track and i will listen to all of it.

I dont mind dizzy, only got his album recently and havnt much of a chance to listen to it.

and plan b....well all i can say is "sussane" that track had me feelin eery man
