try this one instead,

http://www.gsrcyborg...topic.php?t=402

cant wait till a few of us have our cars moving again, might be worth a day cruise then.

Id rather an informal get together over a bbq than a cruise maybe meet up at a park somewhere and cook a snager. too old for cruises now {50} AND need my licence for work. there is a lot of temptation in cruises to give it a bit. the wa police regard this as hooning. since the last cruise I went on Ive mellowed considerably......it costs too much as i found out.

yeh brian, don't i know about it... anti-hoon laws have hurt my pocket big time. and i'm not talking just infringement notices and a few demerits.

i reckon a night at the drags would be good.

Hey lads and ecspecially Lorry

Used to own a GSR for 5 yrs with a VR4 conversion ran a TDO6 20G that had a full genuine EVO2 bodykit now fairly much these days into Toyota's as luv the Aristos ecspecially !

Was going to go a local CC GSR as had bought a EVO3 complete car in Japan at auction late last year (grade 3.5) but have shelved that conversion and will sell the two cuts as already have a buyer for 90% of the car :D

Cheers Jamie

As Brian stated you'll need a CAMS 3 licence but lots of cars to chop in half in Japan if you know where to look 8)

Reason why i bought a complete one to chop in half as local wreckers go for wrecked or badly looked after EVOs in particular as i wanted a good one and i wasnt disappointed with my choice shame it had to be chopped in two as very nice car !

No way, Blake is the guy who used to own it in Mandurah, good friends with him, I am presently selling my GSR after purchasing a EVO 6.

Blake took care of that car, the engine was only about 5000kms old when he sold it.

Sorry to here about your friend, i meet him about a month or 2 on a cruise after purchasing the car from Blake. Seemed like a nice guy.

Hey say the thread and thought id say hi.
Ive recontly bought a nice pre face lift jap spec vr4.
Brief description,
was bought over here 3 yrs ago as a grade 4inport inside and out, done 67 000ks. its a virgin
Got 3inch turbo back
Exedy clutch
GFB adjustable blow off valve
g4 adjustable coil overs.

Im doing a slow build with the intention of a big 16g upgrade at the end of the year.

Id be interested in a bbq to have a look at peoples cars as i havent seen many vr4's or early evos in perth.
Id love to see other peoples set ups and also for someon to take me for a blat in a set up simular to the one im thinking of doing, 16g (or 20g), 510 injectores ect to see if its worth the dosh.
