I recently purchased a 1994 Mitusibishi RVR Sport Gear diesel automatic, and so far this has been the best place to mine info.  I'm in the US, import laws mean the van has only been available 3-4 years.  I got a new alternator out of Ireland delivered today, plan to rebuild the old one, but it's my first experience with an import.  I had a good friend of mine help me find the right part, he repairs computer boards and he can't explain how he found it in 20 minutes after I searched for hours, just he's got experience finding niche/specific parts.  Don't know how I'd start without that kind of help.  I hope to ask relevant questions and share my experience as best I can, I hope you guys won't treat me like too much of a dummy but being honest, this was a moonshot deal and I deserve being made fun of for getting out of my range on this one.

It's a Japanese model with no user manual. Grateful to have a 2000 Buick Century all GM parts to get me around until I can get this thing running smoothly.  With a fully charged battery, the RVR is super sweet.  Within 2 days, I had a piece break on the passenger side window regulator.  I am not a stranger to that sort of problem, have replaced that a couple times in a couple GM vehicles.  Parts are going to be the main issue.  The more part numbers I can mine, the better.

Thanks for having me, I know an uncommon car is a pain, but in for a penny in for a dime.  Got it at a really premium USD for only having ~7500km on it, I think somebody before me was in over their head too.
