I recently installed a turbosmart boost tap and then my boost gauge stopped working right after install. Is it because I removed the hose going to the solenoid? Anyone got any ideas on how I could get it to work again?

Bit more info might help.
Where do you have the reference for the gauge?
It should not be the same place you have the tap.
It should be from the inlet manifold and the tap should be in between j pipe and wastegate.

The tap is installed between the wastegate and j pipe. Not sure about where the guage is getting boost reading from as it was on the car when I bought it I'll have a look into that.

Just looked into it the boost gauge was getting its reading from the vent side on the solenoid but when I installed the boost tap I removed the boost line running to the solenoid so where should I run the boost line for the gauge now?
