Long overdue update. Carbon fibre sedoupe guards made. Flares installed and 255/40/17 tyres on 17x9.5" rims.

The additional level of mechanical grip is amazing!

Lol. Can never have too many vents!

The original evo ones were getting cooked by the radiant heat off the exhaust manifold, so something needed to be done.

I'm working on setting up ducting into the intercooler and shielding the gap between the intercooler and radiator.

Bing bang. Any collateral damage or did it stay within the bellhousing?

A few scuff marks and a little bit of damage inside the bell housing, but I was very lucky. A big chunk of friction plate must have shot out from the inspection window near the flywheel (lucky I never covered it up!)

Couple of shots from my last trackday in April before the clutch exploded.

It's all pieced back together now and just needing a final spanner check before the next outing.

Hopefully lockdown is lifted soon.

Hey mate,

sorry to hear about the bingle, but good that your getting back on (in) the horse so to speak.

The up side is that you get to do more stuff to the car to make it better.

Cheers, Clive
