Hi everyone,

Does anyone know at what rpm would a TD05 16G start making usable boost on a mostly standard 4G93T?

You could just start with the wastegate spring. I believe it is about 8psi.

Nvm. I re-read your question: I’m not sure.

I only noticed 500rpm or so difference between the td04 td05 when I swapped over. How it is tuned probably helps too.

on a forged 93 with a stock tune from an evo 3 ecu and 510 injectors/609 maf....my experience was that a "big"16 started at 3200. Others will have a different opinion and that's fine, But I think a 14b is best suited to a  93 unless you plan to rev its tits off

My 4G93T with 9:1 compression lagged till 4000rpm and then pulled hard. Quite laggy but it has it's charm.
