Hi,  My battery in my EVO 1 is dead, and I remember the guy who installed it thought it was too small, THen I've gone to Century Battery Finder, and found the recommendation for this car is a massive battery with 700 odd Crank amps!

I've searched on here and google, but not luck.  What battery should I buy and does it matter how many crank amps?

Mines 300 and something and it's in the boot, so has a long cable from boot to the front and has no issues starting the car.
Definitely no need for a 700cca battery.

700CCA!?

The battery for my VE Wagon is only 600CCA from factory!

300-400CCA would be plenty.
