Purchased it from a Mechanic in Adelaide at his place of work.
From previous seller "VR4 Galant, 1990 HH, Worked 4G63 engine, 5 speed manual, 4WD, OZ Racing Wheels, 3 inch exhaust, Walbro fuel pump, ECM Tunning System, Evo 3 Turbo ( Genuine Cost $1320 in 2008), Exeddy button clutch, 510cc evo injectors engine fully rebuilt in late 2008, Done approx. 25,000 KM, Wiseco Forged pistons, Argo con rods, metal head gasket, dyno tuned by Steve Knight made 203KW at the wheels"
Had the car for about 5 years now, not much has gone wrong other than the head gasket, have installed braided brake lines, have receipts for tail shaft center bearings/u joints. Fixed all small issues with the RWC. Installed ZR4 Grille.
The Bad :
Head gasket gone? I initially thought that the a-spec oil cooler had been over torqued and cracked allowing oil into the coolant, I removed that and re-routed oil cooler coolant hoses, flushed the radiator but oil still seeping in to the cooling system. Oil in engine is unchanged. I live a 10 minute walk from work and a 5 minute walk from the supermarket so haven't bothered to get it fixed or looked at.
Tree branch fell on roof above the front left passenger, have been quoted $350 to fix.
Paint is appalling
Price : $3000 WITH interior spares inc uncracked dash. Will get a list and price of extra parts I have accumulated. Loads of engine parts as I was planning a top end rebuild will get list up next week.
