From my experience Jamo, the HSGR one does not match what you want bro. Seems you found appropriate one anyway.

Yeah the brackets were slightly different, but enough to matter.
I ended up going to local wreckers with my buggered one and going through bins of Mitso and Hyundai alternators.

Just comparing it to the gto one for you. So gto alternator will not fit you car. I think gto is 125amps or so. From what I've been told .

Sonata is exactly the same apart from being 75amp. And a slighty different pulley which can be changed but no getting around internal reg easily.

Been through this............pull the alternator apart, you will see the "star" winding is soldered to itself and has three diodes...........get a four diode pack and solder the extra wire to the pack..............bang, you now have a 90 amp alternator.

Yea but at that point why not just take current alternator and get it rebuilt?
