I've got the old FP hta86 definitely not the quickest spool but when it kicks in you know about it. Got 317kw @ 25psi. Not on an evo but still 2L

I've only got 220kw an run consistent mid to low 11's but it has undergone a lot of weight removal.

All depends on your setup as to how much power you will need to run a 12 an how good you can pedal the car

Garret gt3076x. Serial turbo, 0.63 rear housing, full boost at 3500rpm. Dual ball bearing, will literally be turning over 1 min after the engine has stopped. 25psi cap and still making power at 9k rpm. $1650
GSR Lancer- JE-73-VO, 11.701@125mph, 1.79 60" and getting faster. No:3 conrod now orbiting the moon.

Thanks guys. Appreciate the feedback.

Cant seem to find a site that sells that GT3076x turbo though. Recommedations? Is it a bolt on? Ie to a FP style manifold?

As a complete solution, the FP series (ie turbo + manifold) seems to be pretty good bang for buck and easy to install.

Sorry GTX3076r. They are a T3 flange so they won't mount to an Fp manifold.

If the goal is only 12.0, the Evo III 16G will take you there. I ran 12.39 at 21 psi on the Evo I 16G with a garbage tune. At full steam well-tuned with a good setup, the E3 turbo gets it done.

Interesting feedback guys!

Didn't think it was possible to get a stock E1/2 or E3 16G turbo to a flat 12

My buddy just ran a 12.4 in Alberta Canada in a big 16g @ 18lbs boost and his only other mods are a hks rs intake, full 3" exhaust, and Evo 8 springs and retainers, and 264 cams. So if you are at sea level that is easily a 11 sec car.

A 16G has gone 10s in a (heavy) DSM. Granted, it was auto and English Racing's shop car, but 11.99 is cake for a fully set up EIII 16G.

Edit: they've also gone 9s on a HTA68 (billet wheel Evo III 16G).

If it's a street car and you want a stock appearing turbo, I would go a FP 68HTA.

Hi EvoOne, which turbo did you go with?

Waiting for some cash before I buy the turbo and take the car off the road.

Seems like an FP is the way to go though.
