Sooo, I just got some wheels for pretty cheap but to have them picked up is gunna cost me double what it would to have them depot to depot via e-go,
so what im asking for is a favour,
-to pick up 4 17" wheels from Beresford attach connote (I'll email through) and drop them down at e-go in Newcastle (or any convenient depot really)

While I cant offer money, I won't forget the help and will eventually return the favour somehow,

Thanks, Jamie

Hey mate, I can do that for you.

Beresfield is a suburb near me and the EGO Newcastle depot is actually in Thornton (the suburb right next to Beresfield).

When I purchased wheels from Western Australia they came on a skid.

Check with E-Go if the wheels need to be tied down onto a skid so it can be picked up and moved by a forklift, or if they can be separated?

Who knows, one day I might need the return favour lol :)

Cool, so they're 4 wheels without tyres :) If they are in boxes then its even better.

* Monday afternoon from 6pm onwards is good. It's OK, Towers Transport depot is open til late so I can get home, swap cars, go and pick the wheels up, put the paperwork on them and drop them off at the depot.

* Tuesday is no good as my son has footy training.

* Wednesday is no good as my daughter has dancing and my other son has soccer training.

* Thursday my son has footy training again.

* Friday from 5pm onwards I'm all good and can do it also.

It's the "1" car thing at the moment because we are getting screwed around by Shannons insurance for our Ralliart Magna which front end went under water from the April floods and has had a niggling electrical issue since. They tried to pass it off as leaking fluid from the heater core onto the ECU, but I changed the heater core unit and the ECU and had the immobiliser function reprogrammed, but I started the car yesterday and it still has the same electrical issues with the different ECU!! Mind you, the original ECU wasn't even water damaged or wet or had any condensation or dust or burn marks insude it because they are protected from above by a large plastic sheet to stop them from getting wet. Nevertheless I changed it and the problem is still there. They made a misdiagnosis and tried quoting me over $4k to fix it lol! . So its going back in for assessment again for the 3rd or 4th time!! Arrrgh. WWe've been without a daily 2nd family car now for 3 months. So my wife and I are down to the one car (RAV4) as I am not permitted to drive my work car outside of work hours for personal use - buggar too because its a VE Commodore ute!! lol   But its all good, the RAV4 will take the wheels no problems.

I cant believe the prices on those awd magnas now. (Is that same shape as yours? Tj?) They so cheap. And they still look pretty good.
can you log all the inputs with evoscan? You might be able to pick the issue there. Its prolly a cam/cas sensor.

Yes you can use EVOSCAN with the ECU's but the ECU isn't the issue. I also changed the TCL module/computer and the intermittent TCL and Check Engine light is still happening. grrr...

Will book the car back into the workshop tomorrow.

EDIT : THE CAR IS NOW FIXED. IT WAS A FAULTY ABS MODULE!!!!

I like the Ralliart. They drive really smooth and handle well. I much prefer that than my work car VE Commodore or the RAV4 we have (not the latest model shape RAV4, the model before it).

If I can have another Ralliart I would. Great cars to drive and cheap parts, but they have a crappy clear cloat on the duco and the headlining sags  Typical Commodore/ Falcon/ Magna Aussie made paintjobs and headlining.

He wouldn't allow me to come and pick the wheels up on Thursday.

Then when I asked about Friday he said that he was shutting up shop after lunch and going to MC a friend's wedding.

It's closed on the weekend.

Said Monday was OK but I have to call 40 minutes before I get there.

Yay for customer service. Will keep you up to date :)

^ yea, and being auto is probably gunna mean even more brake dust, but tbh, I don't see a lot of time being spent at car washes till I re-spray it, and that won't happen till I get away from civil const. plus I foresee a lot of laughs blasting round site
the main thing though, is I need 17s for bigger brakes

Big thanks again Rob, absolute top bloke for doing that, anything in Melb it's a given I'll help ya but even if ya see anything kiwi side, msg me an I'll see if I can help.
