Hey everyone I'm having real dramas with my wiring harness and I'm at my limit of knowledge if checked every forum I can find read pages and pages of posts I cannot get the warning light for abs to switch off last weekend I traced all the wiring and it's fine and I've also swapped over both the abs ecu and g sensor without getting any closer when the ignition is switched to on the abs light flashes very quickly then stays on can anyone help me is a warning light reset I don't know about i don't know what else to do

Sounds like one of the sensors is either faulty, or dirty.

^ sounds good. Pull sensors and clean them. Scrub the tone rings if needed too

Yep..will be the sensors on the hubs....pull them out if you can (they can be a prick sometimes) clean and replace....do one at a time to work out which one is fucked.

I'm not a guru but if you interested in what the manufacturer's manual says about ABS troubleshooting, here is some info I have screen dumped that might help (though do carry out the sensor work recommended above, as these guys have done it all before!).

 

I've also included the workshop manual for the service brakes (35.pdf), from where the extract was taken from  - not sure how much use it will be as I have found you do need to know it all before the manual is useful!

There is a thing you can do, and it will flash the abs light as you turn each wheel. To check each sensor.
