Yes, I have to admit I was not sure where else to put it, if anyone can suggest a better location I would be grateful! In the absence of any obvious earthing point I just picked up that existing self tapper, it looked nice and shiny where the thread had been cut, and it torqued up really well. Where have other people earthed their relays? FWIIW my battery is in the stock location.

Ian91, by seat belt mount do you mean on the door piller, below the inertia reel ? That could be a good idea... nice and close...

No rear seat belt on the right on the car, my battery is in the boot and relay is in the same spot as evo-oox so I just clamped it under the seatbelt mount as it was the closest existing bolt 13.6v at the pump now

In my pic you can see the thick black earth wire moving to the left and out of the photo.

Its is connected to the shell of the car with a bolt and nut at the base of and behind the rear [door] trim in the coupe.

In a sedan you can put it in the seat belt bolt.

After some of the feedback I decided I was not happy with the whole job and redid the lot; dug out the manuals and picked up an earth point (for the relay), under the drivers seat. Also upgraded the cabling to 8 gauge (from 6mm), as per EVO-00X's notes. Also used that split cable tubing stuff so looks almost OE.

I'm now pretty happy with the result, next job is to fit the bigger injectors. One for the holidays...

A self tapper would be more than sufficient, as long as u sand the area underneath, without getting technical that is.....

I have a walboro in my evo3 and when I turn the turn signals on , you can hear the pump going In sync with the signal blinking. Will this hardwire mod fix this?

Sorry for the necrobump:)
