How much time do you spend in a parking lot with your performance car? If you do a lot of parking lot driving, and hang out in parking lots, chances are you are a ricer, go home and read import tuner. If you’re complaining about noise you should not be modifying your car. You should also consider no longer being a man, please hand in your genitals at the door.

I got a flange and clamp to fit the oem vband output, will take a 3.5inch pipe
A little pricey, but makes for a nice fit without any stuffing around with it

http://www.ebay.com....l-/300366636472

My brother is back, so we will be starting on the manifold in the next week or so

Thanks mate! I was looking for something like that.

I have the HX35. Hopefully it's the same diameter. I'll ask the seller, cheers.

Isn't that the dual runner Jap intake mani? If you're shooting for big power, wouldn't you be better off sticking to the AU intake mani? Not to mention the extra hoo-ha you have to sort out for the ECU etc to control the switch over from the short/long runners... or have you already got that sussed?

I noticed that also and would agree but it's funny, the US guys reckon the Cyclone manifolds are the best thing out.

It is the cyclone manifold, and I do have ECMLink switching the runners no problems. The record for the most power out of a cyclone manifold is ~700hp, but when tuned right, you can spool the turbo a couple of hundred rpm quicker and get more low end torque with them.

Ah, right. Wasn't sure as the car's an aussie spec. What was involved in getting it running? Did you have to run new wire(s) to the ECU etc? I've got a oz car as well and building more towards track work so the extra response could be a nice option.

Ecmlink gives you the option to use the FPR and EGR solenoid outputs to switch on whatever you want (rpm, tps, coolant, knock). So you use the existing wires from one of these solenoids to switch a solenoid for the cyclone runners.

What solenoid did you use for switching the runners? The jap mani still got the egr? Was planning to make an fmic spray off the boost or fpr on tps% eventually.

Sorry for the hijack man! Pm me if you like. Interested to see how it goes and what figures/curve you get.

Agreed. Is that an 18cm exhaust housing?

You've got some skill putting that manifold together

No skill at all, this is the first manifold I've ever build, this is also the first time I ever welded anything in my life.
