I have just read through this thread as i am in need of some new engine mounts, what id like to know is what type of mounts would be best for someone who drives on really rough roads, and on dirt roads every day, I googled what type of mounts for a rally car (not that mines exactly a rally car) and the thread i read was that solid mounts are no good for this type of driving.

Should I stick to the ones from meek or look at the hardrace ones or do you think the ones from tbowgn would be ok?

any info would be great, and if you can give me a model number or link to the correct ones for my 4g93t gsr that would be awesome :)

If your trying to reduce vibration due to the bumpy roads then the factory mounts would be best for you I think...anything hard like these or hardrace are only going to amplify the problem.

Looking at a set of cusco mounts (to suit CE9A) at the moment, if I'm putting a six bolt VR4 egine into a GSR, i wont be able to use the passenger side mount will I? The Evo mount looks similar to the 4G93 mount, whereas the six bolt mount curves around to the front of the engine :/

Just put the evo mount on. It bolts straight onto 6 bolt. Grab some inserts from TBOWGN and ur golden

Ive never physically seen an evo mount before, just photos on the net, so you're saying the CE9A passenger side mount will bolt to my GVR4 Engine, and actually fit into my CC GSR? That's a relief then

I have a used Evo 1-3 passenger side mount here, if you need one to put a new poly bush in.

All good, the Cusco set includes the insert and the metal around it :)
