The ultimate hi-tech/tuner rivalry will face off in an arena (Sydney Motorsport Park Skid Pan) that will showcase Sydney's most reputable cars from each model & modified genre.
This will lead into a series of events which will ultimately end with the one model taking the glory of street credit.

seems weird how the six-stars in the Subaru badge design is known in Japan as mutsuraboshi, meaning ‘six stars’.

Due to the lack of genuine street registered early EVO's in NSW to balance out the number of early WRX's there are around, its good to see that they are allowing GSR's and Lancers with 4G63T / EVO conversions to enter. That's what you call 'fair and reasonable" and hats off to the organisers for having the foresight to identify that most guys have no other alternative other than to modify their GSR's and Lancers with EVO parts.

It looks like its Subaru EJ engine series vs Mitsubishi 4G engine series; with a side serving of 6 cylinder Subaru ER/EG/EZ engine vs Mitsubishi 6G engine series.
Mixing it up makes for a more entertaining day and draws in much better crowds and the wider community

Yeah Baz, the coupe will be allowed to enter this event (unlike EVONATS) and its 99% complete and waiting on a couple of bolts and a turbo oil return fitting before I can book it into Micks Motorsports in 2-3 weeks time for a tune on 98 pump. Hoping for around the 320kw atw mark on 98. Unfortunately I don't have everything I need for an E85 conversion yet to even try to mix it up with some of the more potent street rego'd cars out there.
