Ted the bigger exh housing causes the lag more than the bigger comp side.
The TD05H exh side suits slowish 2nd gear corners in an auto better.
You can go a Big turbo & select 1st gear for corners in the auto no prob.
Auto 40kph cornering in 2nd is only 2500rpm. 1st gear will be 4000rpm at
40kph & suits a big turbo no probs. This is why autos run baby turbos :-(
Rob won't be on the road much, but I'm sure he will use 1st gear a lot !
My previous post of using a TD05H exh housing & dump & exh system, is for
being able to swap from s16g to a 60-1 kanto pretty quickly.
I supose it depends how offten you plan to drive the M21
Cheers !

If you have a 3500 high stall, whether you are in third or top gear you are going to have 3500 ish revs as soon as you go to accelerate or climb a hill. Its not going to idle away from the lights very much like a normal auto, you are going to have to rev it to make it go. on other hand, mine will prob be a slug from the lights as well unless i brake boost it. with a largeish turbo and stock converter. i hope the 2.4 size makes up for it

If your turbo ends up being too big, you will just have to get a bigger engine...

And a auto is quicker over the 1/4 as well. so less power is required than a manual would need

to run an 11.5 in an auto you need 320-350 hp at the wheels, so I would put it on e85 and it will make that no worries.

Im running a td06sl2 25G with a 3 inch anti surge cover on the silver evo3. The motor is built with stage 2 crower cams etc and a plug in vipec ecu. On 20 psi it has made 276 kw at all 4 and makes great boost early etc. Its making full boost by 4500 and pulls all the way to 8000. These are a great value turbo.

was this power output achieved with e85 or pulp98 fuel?
