Guys, A customer fronted up at work yesterday with what looks to be a genuine 41,000 km E38A VR4 RS. It still looks BRAND new underneath ie shiny metal , and is all round immaculate. It appears "fully optioned" with factory underbody aluminium bash plate drivetrain guards, rain guards etc. I have never seen a lower K VR4 like this in years !! I should post some photos... the customer is all good about posting photos...

He just bought it off a colleague of mine , who imported it some time ago. He almost lost heart in complying it... went thru the marriage hoop... then I convinced him to comply it and then he sold it.

Prefacelift E38A . I think its pre, as it does have a couple of post parts in it. Maybe the japanese owner updated things slightly. It even had the flare kit in it !

flare kit?
Japanese "safety" roadside assistance flare kit for breakdowns. Like the flares boaties have to carry. They are clipped into a bracket in the LHF footwell
