Wouldn't normally throw in car washes pics into my build thread, but it's all for a good cause. The Black Onyx Pacesetters Motorcycle Club - Okinawa Chapter, in conjunction with The Kandi Girls, put on a charity bike and car wash today, with all proceeds going to one of the orphanages in Okinawa. The Evo was only washed last week but was in bad need of a clean after the typhoon that skimmed us had covered the car in salt and dust from the nearby baseball ground.

Credit to the guys and ladies who did the car wash - was about 34C and 90% humidity out there - was scorching stood in the shade so am guessing there's going to be some sunburnt bodies tonight. Would have stayed longer but the girlfriend was overheating so apologies for so few pics. I'll go on my own next time and snap more pics! The Scooby's my good buddy's and is a very nice and clean little ride. Doesn't currently go in reverse, but he's decided he doesn't need it.

Just a warning to you all before you spend your Christmas money.  My car is going to be stripped completely in the next 6 weeks.  Everything on it, from forged pistons and crank, Holset HX-40 turbo, JM Fabrications top-mount manifold, TE37 rims etc have to go.

Enjoy pillaging my car, folks.  Look out for the parts for sale thread - it won't be too far away.

Transcontinental move back to the motherland means the car has to go, and with the car market being like it is where I am, I'd lose a biblical amount of money if I tried to sell it whole.

Got to price things up over the weekend and work a few things out before a full for sale thread goes up.  I did forget I've not got a spec list on the front page of my build.  OK, heres a very quick rundown of what will be available:
-Mahle pistons (I think oversized as it's a 2.1L - will confirm)
-Scat rods
-Eagle 4340 crank
-fully ported head by Motorworx Engineering, with stainless valves, FP springs and retainers
-Ported oil filter housing to drop oil pressure under high boost
-Throttle body half shafts removed and ported intake manifold
-custom 70 MM intercooler piping (giving me a total piping length of under 1m)
-Treadstone Vertical flow intercooler with fabricated mounts
-Stock Evo III intake manifold
-JM Fabrications VR-4 top-mount exhaust manifold
-JM Fabrications exhaust manifold spacer
-Holset HX-40 with a .84 Garrett exhaust housing
-Twin 38mm XS Power wastegates (now using Tial 1bar springs and TIAL diaphragms) and external dumps
-Synapse Engineering Synchronic BOV
-custom 4" intake with Blitz stainless SUS filter
-custom 3" downpipe, and 3" exhaust, with Blitz muffler, and Apexi mechanical valve
-OS Giken STR2C clutch
-stock 1.5 way plate diff
-Left and right Ralliart motor mounts (with brackets)
-walboro 255 fuel pump
-850CC fuel injector clinic injectors
-Sard Fuel pressure regulator
-Winner Racing custom-sized aluminium radiator to fit where a/c condensor block sat
-Cusco Coilovers
-FreakyParts' Willwood kit (including rotors, Ferodo pads and brake lines)
-17" TE37 rims (genuine, with Rays valve stems)
-HKS Kansai front bumper (I'll clean cut it into 2 and send it, if you want it!  Get a bodyshop to put the 2 pieces back together and call it a day :) )
-Integral knock meter
-ECMLink
-AEM Uego wideband
-Blitz Dual Spec SBC-iD plus Power Meter (in custom-modified centre console)
-Billion Variable Fan Controller (works... kind of!)
-Sabelt harnesses
-Fluidampr harmonic damper
-Custom-made catch can/swirl pot, with braided lines going to a modified valve cover
-Locking Aerocatch kit (the new version)

Plus anything I've forgotten and all the stock parts that are left on the car after that.  Like I said, full for sale thread going up once I've got prices together (and the car's not getting taken apart for another 4-5 weeks at least I think).  Just don't want you spending all your money before my pre-Christmas sale starts ;)

Right up until the last week, my car is being defiant. Left rear wheel has decided to become attached to the spigot ring and therefore won't come off. Have liberally applied liquid wrench and even put the nuts on about half tightness and driven a couple of kilometers with some hard braking and it hasn't freed them.

Going to have to go to general car shop place or a tyre place locally tomorrow. Am hoping a little gentle persuasion with a GIANT FRICKIN' MALLET will give me some separation so I can sand this ring down I'll then get some anti-seize on it so I can get it off again on Friday.
