sniffing around the ecmlink forums and found this pdf link. it looks good although its for 1g and no maf, i think we just have a few less inputs or something.

my ecmlink should be at home waiting for me, and i just doing some research while i have time.

is this what others have used to setup esp around step 6 and 7 for configuration and start up and initial idle tune?

Do you have a MAF / AFM or not? Those link are for Speed Density with no AFM. I do like that pdf though, very through.

I got started using using the wiki page and watching the video's a million times until i got my head around it. It'll be easier to start if you have an afm in there like an 055 ect to dial it in then you can dial in the VE table for SD easier using that, then ditch the AFM and switch to SD.
Ive only tuned using my AFM, haven't overrun it yet and made the switch.

yep, i have a 055 afm, i have innovate mtx (like the lc1 but with gauge)

yea i saw its for sd without afm, but i imagine the step 6 and 7 for configuration and start up and initial idle tune will be pretty much identical?
i think my ecmlink has arrived at home, so i reading like a madman to get my head around it.
i reckon i need to do a boost leak test as well before i get too involved.

yeah if you ignore the SD stuff its pretty much just explain what each logged value is.
Th videos are helpful, i had them sitting on the laptop when i went to the garage if i wanted to watch it over as i was going.
Read heap on the Wiki page as well that a good help even if it can be a bit of a pain to navigate.
