Did anyone just see the fool in the S15 on A Current Affair? I normally dont watch that show because its the media equivalent of shit on a stick, but I saw some nut in an S15 drifting and couldnt help but think its A-holes like him that give people who drive cars like ours a bad name<_<. I mean seriously, taping yourself drifting on suburban roads then posting it on You tube with your full name and face........ the stupidity is overbearing.

Whether it was for an audition or not, the Dickhead had the nerve to do it on a public road and video it, thats the nuts and bolts of it. ACA and all the other so called "Current Affair" type programs are sensationalising propaganda machines to get the public to believe whatever they want you to. Nevertheless, had he said that the road had been blocked, detoured around etc for video purposes, or is an unused section of road it would have gone in hus favour, but I suppose he aint all that bright lol

Exactly. Cant say as I've ever agreed with ACA before, theyd report my paper gone missing if it was a slow news week and play violins in the background. The tool should have done it on a track, rather than a highway because it gives C-Units like ACA ammunition to fire up the mum and dad voters into banning cars, more hoon laws etc etc.

And more to the point because this bloke can drift a bit in his Silvia on a public road, does that even put him in the ballpark of the Stig? I thought the real stig was a semi retired professional race driver or something.

I was just saying with regards to him saying the roads closed. Damn internet, cant tell how people are saying things sometimes.

I can just picture walking into Vic Roads tomorrow telling them I need them to shut the Black Spur for an hour because I want to shoot a Stig audition video

They're all at it. A few months ago the Advertiser newspaper here in S.A. was all over some hotted up Bombadore because the guy crashed it. Included were pictures showing the "Extreme" modifications to his car..... one of them was a pic of the custom fuel cell the guy had fitted!!
