A bit of a thread revival but i put this on hold for a few months, back into it now. Collecting relevant components to do the job. Going for a DIY loom install. Gotta live up to the number plate!

Awesome build man! I wouldn't say you've been unlucky or anything of that sort at all. It's all a learning curve especially when you're trying to do it all yourself!

Great job, keep us updated with progress!

#316788 WTB: Bottom end parts for foged build (7 bolt)

Posted by evopwr on 01 May 2015 - 02:25 AM

After forged components for a 7-bolt bottom end.

Would prefer a kit but willing to buy separate components as well.

At this stage I am looking at all options (standard, stroker, long rod) however do want higher compression pistons (min 9.5:1) and prefer max 85.5mm bore.

Thanks
Alex
