The rails don’t come off the stock gsr seats, so you need the rails from an evo 1-6 or a proton gti. A jap spec gsr might have removable rails but I don’t know for sure

Yea, and I think gsr front guards would need to be at least rolled to fit these wheels, depending on your ride height I guess

Hi mate, yea fitted them with the 235/45 tyres and never would of been able to drive on them without serious guard work, inner and outer, I had 215/40 tyres fitted and the fronts are fine but the rears I had to pump the guards out a bit (they were previously rolled) and the bumper tabs will need addressing, I just took the bumper off and bent the metal tab away for now

Hi selling my coil overs,

They are teins despite the colours, old owner sprayed the shocks black for a stealth look and the springs were replaced with kings for some reason (maybe the previous ones were to heavy or something). The fronts have Cusco camber tops and front and rear have damper adjustment.

Must be to suit GSR and evo 1-2(?) because there’s no sway bar mount on the struts.

They are in good condition, just need a clean which I’ll do when I remove them.

Can freight at your expense or deliver if localish.

$600 negotiable.

Aplus brand

Just a cheapy tyre that came on some wheels I bought, don’t fit the car so I got smaller tyres.

235/45R17

They are nearly new, bought them off a guy who crashed his car not long after fitting them. I have a set of Aplus all terrains on my pajero and they have lasted pretty well considering they were $150 each so I can only guess these would make a decent budget tyre too.

They retail for around $100 each up here, happy to take $50 each, so $200 for the set. Will split into pairs if you really want.

At a guess I’d say a fwd lancer would be the go for front hubs considering the knuckles and control arms are the same between them. And repco or something would sell them cheap being a common car

Now that the obligatory congratulations message has been posted, I'll ask my question... Haha.

How did you mount your pillar gauges (photo WAY back on page 2)? I'm trying to sort this out for my boost gauge, but hate the pods that I can find. Your's looks nice, and I want to copy.

The gauges came with the type of bracket in the link below, I just removed the foot and bent the 2 screw holes out so they sat flat on the pillar trim.

Got the turbo mounted back up yesterday, all plumbed in and exhaust bolted back on. Cleaned and refitted the a/c compressor. Painted the power steering bracket, radiator brackets, bonnet hinges, still have to do the strut brace, oil catch can and intake manifold.

After installing the a/c compressor and the turbo I test fitted the new hot side intercooler piping and found it doesn’t clear the a/c compressor, it wasn’t fitted when I mocked up the pipe and I misjudged it’s size :/ hopefully I can chop off the extra brackets on the side of the compressor and it will clear, also hope fully the engine will sit slightly higher once the crossmember and poly mounts are refitted.

Should be able to carry on with it this arvo and get the condenser, power steering, turbo intake, wiring looms, brake master/ booster and clutch master.

I have to wire in the IAT sensor for the link ecu, I’m guessing that will be wired into the AFM plug but can anyone tell me what wires I need to hook into for that? Cheers

Otherwise everything seems to be going ok, waiting on fittings for the oil cooler/ filter relo to come in too.

Side note, does anyone have en evo bonnet spare? I’m tossing up the idea of getting a genuine one before I paint this shitty f/g one I have.

Yep, sure can remove your Engine harness/loom without taking out the Heater/AC setup. That is ofcause if your using a stock GSR engine loom and ecu.

There is 6 connections in total from memory. 3 go to ECU, 2 go to the dash harness, and one go’s to the engine start relay that’s under the stereo .. this is probably the one you thinking is the hard one. But it sits lower then the A/C gear. You do have to pull the passenger side foot well carpet down and lift the firewall insulation up to get to it but it’s easy as.


Of coarse, I forgot about that that thing, that will be my issue! Cheers

Ok so since having an accident after Xmas with a kangaroo I have finally got my hands on all the parts to get it back together. I just have to wait for some good weather to paint the new parts :) see pics for awesomeness.

Genuine evo 2 guards and front bar, these came from the uk so the reo is pretty rusty but I’ll clean that up :) eBay headlights with the back blacked out, should look good against the blue when it’s done.

New intercooler piping, the old hot side was mashed and I felt it was a good time to make it all look neater + a new intake pipe, no afm needed because I bought robs link ecu.

Gonna refit the a/c while it’s all pulled apart.
