Looking to purchase a fiberglass evo 1-3 bonnet thinking of ditching the latch and putting in bonnet bins cant bring my self to hacking up my genuine bonnet. My bonnet will not be for sale just want a replacement. located Sydney

I understand your situation! Taking to a genuine bonnet with the holesaw is daunting.

Not a cheap option but....so almost the same as hacking up a genuine bonnet.

Why do you need to ditch the latch and put pins in anyway?  If it's only for looks, then it seems like a fair bit of trouble and cost for what you will gain.....

Yea true but atleast a new one won't be cracked and chipped and rank like most second hand fibreglass ones would be.

Have had a body kit from there, it was pretty good quality so I'd buy again if I had to.

Looks is one reason but moving my oil cooler and the latch is kind of in the way but not really

If you do the pins properly they look really good. Get the Aerocatch lockable ones, pull out the holesaw and have a crack!

Instead of jig sawing, a drill will be easier.
