Trying to bypass the neutral safety so my manual converted car will start and i cant seem to figure it out. I can get it to crank while in the on position, but that does no good when it starts as the starter will stay engaged etc.

I can get this reaction on bridging the power with 2 other separate pins. 2 in the middle of the plug and one on the outside.

Apart from that lost on which pins/wires to bridge to simply have it act normal, crank when its meant to etc.

Manuals on here lead to dead link/generic "find pdf" site that leads to nowhere.

Anyone know which to do or where i can find out?

Prefereably before work tomorrow so i dont have to pay for a lift again lol

Cheers

You need to rewire your mpi/ecu pins. There may be one or two pins that only trigger when the auto inhibitor switch is in Park or neutral.

I've got details and see if I can get it for you. Quite simple. It will be a constant gnd or ign +12v power supply to allow your starter motor to engage.

Ive bridged a couple of wires on the inhibitor and now cranks over and idles/revs fine in neutral. Not quite at the point to test run but so far looks like its all good.
