What options are people running for a/m manifolds? are evo options a bolt on? Im running a td05 evo turbo on it, so im running a pipe over the manifold. By going a/m i wont have room to run that pipe, which means ill have to rotate the turbo to face down, so i imagine the easiest option if theres one available is to run a mani with a gate provision and weld up the internal turbo one? Is there a "off the shelf" manifold with gate provision that will fit that would do said job for me?

Bump - had a look at a few manifolds but most seem to run a max of around .6 to .7 AR. Got a 1.08 in the garage im tempted to throw on if i can find the right manifold at the right price..

I welded the internal W/G on my  td06/25g, then added a 40mm ext. gate with some interesting pipework. Pics aren't the best, but if you need more details PM me/FB group and I'd be more than happy to help out.

Yeah man, I've not posted for a while. It's going great now, comes on not much different to stock like you said, and top end hammers.
I think with the 40mm Ext. gate and the Apexi AVC-R are a good combo to get it ramped up fast and the WG makes it feel like it has a bigger arse end high RPM.

No chrome or bling, just rust and unfinished stuff.

Thats awesome news that you finally have it happening. I never got to use it to its full potential due to the shitty wastegate setup it had.
How many PSI you got it running at?

Yea I've seen a few like that, drill a hole out of the rear housing in the appropriate spot and weld a bit of pipe and flange to it, just has to be in the housing somewhere before the exhaust gas hits the wheel.

The 02 sensor in the dump pipe yeah? Exhaust has already pushed past the ex. wheel though... dunno, sounds shit to me, about as good as welding a pipe on the stock cast exhaust mani for the sake of an external,

Ahh, I see how it works, just checked em out, so the turbo exh housing is pretty much the same as a std one but with the internal w/g flap removed, I was imagining a v band exh single exit type thing
