Is there anyone that has had either of the turbo housings extrude  honed and what were the results B4 and after dyno charts would be great.

I have had my gt3082 done and a friend with his tdo4 on his wrx done..

It is obviously cleaner but not before dyno graphs..

The wrx ran a 13.6 with a top mount and 3 inch exhuast. Safc and that's all..

The gt30r is currently in the AMG Galant. No before dyno results...

I'd say if your looking for an improvement, you will get it via a larger outlet ID and a smoother cast finish internally... As for cost, only a couple of hundred from memory.

Would be a waste of time and $$$ IMO.

A properly designed exhaust manifold merge collector to fire the gases into the turbine at the right angle and in pulse would give you far better results.

Pretty much the conclusion they come to in one of those links above too. Money is better spent elsewhere.

I'm planning on posting a thread on the benefits gained by my new twin-scroll exhaust manifold setup.  Same turbo (albeit new twin scroll turbine housing vs previous single scroll), injectors, boost level etc but now the power and torque curves start about 900rpm earlier.  My dyno tuner overlaid the graphs to show old vs new.

I have an inquiring mind and am curious as to what exactly the improvement if any would be so if anyone can link me to genuine before and after results that will be good.

I would like to see the result BUT there seems to be no info that I can find for any direct exhaust flow comparisons between an open vs twin scroll turbine housings.

Will a OS AR63 flow more or less than a TS AR82 on the same size turbos  ??

I have before and after flow rate results for and intake manifold... Not for the comp cover though.

If you are chasing every possible improvement. I would say do it..
