So the time has come for me to out lay more money onto my non driving (or starting for that matter car) in the form of a new clutch! I have narrowed it down too 2 clutches so just need help deciding.  (forgot to add car is making decent power very torquey not 100% sure how much power , bloke I bought the car back off said he had it on dyno and made 280kw atw which I'm not inclined to believe given his dodgyness)

1st is south bend read some positive things about these guys

2nd is spec sm843 stage 3 EVO-00X speaked highly of this and I'm leaning towards it.

I've also thought about a Jim berry race clutch but these 2 are my main options. unless someone wants to throw a spanner in the works and give me another clutch to think about :)

Cheers fellas

Got quoted $750 for a custom made clutch, has anyone had this done and could recommend it or just stick to off the self companies?

750 sounds ridiculous cheap. I had a clutch mix from Meek. That of the top of my head was a PBR 5 puck plate, and not sure what PP. But it stood up to 300kw until 245km/h and it tore the centre apart. The 5 puck was $240 and the PP I can't remember. It was 10 years ago now.

Its pretty much the same specs as that SPEC clutch you have in your original post above Rocco.
So either or would suit your needs.

I have a Jim Berry in my 3. Can't say I'm a huge fan as it has the famous evo decel noise. Meek cured this on my 1 (which admittedly makes a lot less power than the OPs) with his own combination. Much nice pedal feel too (have damage to my left leg).
