I had the pleasure? of starting in front of Bob in car 3 in the FREIGHTER -FUSO rally way back when he had the first model RWD Gallant but had installed a 2 litre 4G54 and recall that his service crew overtook us while I was driving on the posted speed limit on the 1st transport and immediately slow down on a single lane double white line winding road in an attempt to make us late for the first competitive stage so he could start in front of me . We arrived on time and not admitting how we did it.Division break saw us 2 points behind Bob.

IIRC we must have been #1 car
