Saw these on another forum, and thought they may be a good point for the CC lancer guys, and later Evo's ...

 

Have contacted the guy to see if they do 180km/hr for Evo I-III ...

Moved on from the DSM powered Sonata who put out 238kw @ the wheels .... To a GSR 2.0L that is now engineered .. :wub:

Im guessing they arent plug and play... looks like the EL requires seperate wiring?

Place over originals... Then wire the positive and negative of the EL control unit... 

 

Not a hard task ...

You then need to have the guages recalibrated as it is near impossible to get the needles back exactly where they go.

Not hard.
use gps to drive at 100kph. With glass off the cluster, jam needle on to show gps speed. May take a few tries....

May require a passenger to help in heavier eastern states traffic. We still waiting for traffic issues here.

What about revs?

Tried what you said...didnt work properly. Easier to pay the guy at local instrument place to do it properly and know its accurate.

Rpm use laptop, set idle high and match position
GSR Lancer- JE-73-VO, 11.701@125mph, 1.79 60" and getting faster. No:3 conrod now orbiting the moon.

I never worried too much about tacho. As long as top limiter is set and you change before it cuts.

They do look good though. I've seen thrm in Jamie s car

rpm can be set at zero with key turned to on. speed is alil more difficult though
