Hello all, a brand new member from Wollongong here.
I've picked an interesting choice of car to modify; the Mitsubishi Nimbus - although mine is a private import, badged as a Chariot and running a SOHC NA 4G63.
So far the engine is stock (Cursed NSW P-plater laws), although I intend to look into converting SOHC to DOHC, and what that involves.
Mods include stiffer shocks, lower springs, a stiffer sway bar, and lower profile / wider wheels, which result inn a massive improvement in handling.
Other work done includes a 2.25" exhaust with high-flow muffler, four 100W Narva lights behind the grille for country driving, and a custom sound setup.
Next mod may be brakes, if a head swap proves too complicated.
Some pics in the spoiler, and I'll see you all around on the forums.

It's a great road... for anything fairly off-road capable. That hairpin is pretty much the only tarmacced area for quite a while. In a lowered FWD, it's certainly a challenge.
I drove as far as I could once, but I got to a point where I just couldn't gt any further.
If you want to know the location that photo was taken, here's a Google Maps link; https://www.google.c...150.8113129,13z
Although Macquarie pass is more fun to drive, in my opinion.

Small update; this car's come a long way since I joined these forums.
I bought the shell from RE80RN, and it lives again.
The old shell is (eventually) getting turned into a trailer.
