Most are the the USA so you'll need to include DSM in your search to find them, "dsm shifter bushings" should give you plenty of options. Shop around for the one with the best shipping.

Also double check the play is not coming from the shifter assembly first. The linkages should move as soon as the shifter is moved. If there is any slop then you ned to replace the plastic bushings in the assembly.

The plate finally turned up, so I could get a WOF and register the car again. 100% legal.

I took it on a road trip for christmas, abount 400km. Might not sound like much but it was literally the longest trip its had since christmas 2007, thats seven years ago...

Drivetrain will be the next area of work. I believe the clutch has been slipping under boost and now its starting to make some ugly noices on decel under load, so gearbox off soon I think...

However if you're not in chch, then any decent fabricator should be able to make one no problems.

Been almost a year since the last update, haven't really done much to the car TBH.

What I thought was a slipping clutch turned out to be a slipping center diff, so had that replaced.

Had the rear springs compressed 20mm and wound the front down to suit.

Having the rear springs reset has caused the diff to move over to the drivers side about 10mm and they are uncaptive, so will need new shocks. I already have an adjustable panhard rod so the diff isn't an issue, just haven't got round to adjusting it yet.

Also upgraded the LED bulbs from SMD to Cree style ones - much brighter.

Over summer I plan on doing some minor paint touch up work. Otherwise I'm fairly happy with how the car is.

Also I had a laugh when I saw that JAMEX are using my car to advertise Libero springs on Trade Me.

No, I assume they stole the photo of google.

Not fussed about it, just thought it was funny when I was scrolling through Trade Me and thought, 'hmm, seen that car before somewhere'.

Over summer I plan on doing some minor paint touch up work. Otherwise I'm fairly happy with how the car is.

Had a quick go at this.

Damage from the 2011 earthquake when an air compressor in the garage fell over:

Damage from before the car was imported (genuine JDM damage yo):

After:

Not perfect as because I didn't clear the entire panels it will likely peel at some stage.

However it is better than it was.

U can get a product that is specifically for blending, it soften the existing clear so that it binds together. Looks good, just thought u may like some useless information
GSR Lancer- JE-73-VO, 11.701@125mph, 1.79 60" and getting faster. No:3 conrod now orbiting the moon.

While I had the paint out I also redid the drivers side rear door handle (paint was chipped):

DSCF1280_zpsjscisff4.jpg

(So JDM I even import my masking paper).

Have also brought some 50mm shorter rear shocks (just some cheap Monroe ones) so the rear springs are captive again, rolled the guards and adjusted the panhard rod so no more tyre rub.

Have run out of things to do now other than 4G63 swap and go for decent power, but the 93 has been such a trooper that it seems like a waste to remove it!
