Hey guys , was just wondering who is the best to go for a alternator. Mines died unfortunately and I have had problems finding one. i would prefer a brand new one or any re-conditioned one. Any help would be greatfully appreciated!

Take yours to the local auto electricians and get them to reco yours?
You will probably find that the regulator has had it....I had mine done a little while ago and it cost me $280

Dunno if the man 4 up is still 70amp. Autos are 90amp. GTA or Leggie auto if so.

Does the 5-6 have the ecu controlled altenator? If so, can I will take your old one.
I think its the 7-9 that have it tho
