Hi guys.

Im having issues with copying and pasting text into the text box.

Its not letting me do it, not from a link, not from WORD, not from within the text box itself if I wanted to copy what I just wrote and reproduce it.

 

Here's a test.

I am now going to copy the word "4GTUNER"

OK, I've selected it with my mouse. Right clicked and chose COPY.

I am now about to right click and choose PASTE to paste the word 4GTuner on the next line.

 

 

See, no loving!!! lol. The paste option is in the dropdown box, but it does nothing.

Anybody else have the same problem?

I have the same issue, click the little light switch on the top left of the post and it switches to a basic mode and then I can

Yep, works if I click that button for 'BBCode mode'.

I defininitely have had this issue for some time.. On the two computers I use to go online ( both using Windows 7), one of them will not post content online. I just "hangs " indefinitely. Annoying !!

I have the same problem using Explorer 11

Hmmm... now when you open a thumbnail you cant right click and choose 'save picture as' anymore either?

Ive tried with IE11, Google Chrome and Opera.

Has there been an update to the forum recently?

Works on my iPad. but iPad doesn't give you all the options like bold, test size and colour etc...

Also did a test on my PC But i have the same issues as you guys... No worky worky unless I press the BBCode button..

Have you tried the build in copy-paste functions? If you can't paste directly into the post box, try the 'Post as Plain' icon.

Im trying now at my work computer and its copying and pasting from a Word 2003 document into here no probs. Its running IE7.

Its also copying from within the text box no problem either.

 

Wierd. Any idea why its working for some and not for others Robtom? As mentioned at home I've tried IE11, Opera and Chrome and it doesnt work in any of them.

Got me stuffed.

I applied a patch that should fix the copy/paste issue with IE11. Please give it a try. There is nothing in the bug description about problems with Opera or Chrome though...

Yep, copy and pasting is working now. cheers    = YES, WORKING IN GOOGLE CHROME NOW.

Yep, copy and pasting is working now. cheers  = KIND OF WORKS IN OPERA. IT OPENS UP ANOTHER WINDOW THAT I HAVE TO PASTE IT IN FIRST, BEFORE IT WORKS.

Opera is slow as all $%^# anyway. I only use it for one website only lol... but it comes in handy if I have compatibility issues with other sites.
