I don't know if it's possible to change the mobile version, but on the top right is a window thing that links to the messages, notifications etc. Can this change colour or something if there is a new message or notification. At present you must open it to see if anything is new.
Or is there some other way to be notified of new messages?

You don't get an email?

I do....but you have to enable that in your notification settings.

I only get emails sometimes...

Well you both need to set up your notifications to how you prefer them...its easy.
Go into your profile then select settings....Then notification settings tab on the left

Up the top there are 3 selections...see pic below...





Then down near the bottom is the personal messaging settings which you need to check the boxes of the ones you prefer...see pic below...

If your using mobile app (which im guessing Jack is) you need to use the last column to receive a notification when using that.
I find using the full version even when on my mobile is so much better all round.

I just click on the little window in the top right hand corner everytime I go on 4GTuner with my phone.
I have always thought the same as Jack but then again, clicking on the button to check isnt that hard to do lol
I'd rather not get email notifications as my phone is hooked up into 3 x email accounts and tends to go off all hours of the night lol

^Try using silent mode with the vibration set to off while on silent mode Rob...No nasty AM surprises that way..Just plenty to read when having the morning dump!!!

Thanks guys, I really didn't want to get extra emails either. Also it seems to take a while for the red square on the messages box to show up. The new message is there, but there is no indication. This seems to take several hours sometimes.
Anyways just a suggestion for a improvement.
I will go change my notifications

Jack...You can't have your cake and eat it too!! You either get the email or you click the box...dunno why the hours delay for you... my emails for notification are almost instant?
3-4 vibrations cycles would put you over the edge huh?

I use mobile version almost exclusively.
Where has the full version button gone. It used to be at bottom left next to the english button...
How do we toggle to full version now?
I use full version to check member locations and for deleting pm' s etc

On my phone (Samsung Galaxy S3 4G) I just hit the menu button of the phone and select desktop view.

But it still stays in mobile version with the desktopview box ticked.

Delete the homescreen icon ( if you have one ?) and google this site to get on here.tick desktop view then ad new shortcut to home...thats how I sorted my same issue.

Homescreen icon is a bit out of my leauge. But it was a bookmark. So deleted bookmark, turn on desktop view, google 4gtuner and its now as a desktop. Add bookmark and now the toggle in the menu works

Quick question fellas, how do you get to the last post on mobile version,

The little dot on the left of thread (or star if you have replied in the thread)
Can be a bit hard to hit it sometimes.
