You screenshot doesn't show it (it cuts the right side), but do you see a small arrow button on the right hand side, just above the text input area? On a PC it opens a toolbar with tons of editing options including the smileys.

Also, what happens when you click/tap on the 'More Reply Options' button? It should show an enlarged editor - also with smileys.

I'm on an iPad using the browser and I don't have that button either.

How much time do you spend in a parking lot with your performance car? If you do a lot of parking lot driving, and hang out in parking lots, chances are you are a ricer, go home and read import tuner. If you’re complaining about noise you should not be modifying your car. You should also consider no longer being a man, please hand in your genitals at the door.

Looks like iPad and some mobile devices do not support the Rich Editor. I found a thread on the support board where others have the same complain, but no solutions are offered.

I checked the permissions, and they look OK. Is it just one post that you have problems editing?
Try using the full editor: after clicking on 'Edit', click on 'Use Full Editor' make the changes and try to save. Still have the problem?

Baz, press the MORE REPLY OPTIONS button next to the POST button.
Screen will refresh and you will find ATTACH FILES section underneath then :)
Click on CHOOSE FILES , select your pic and you're done.

Sometimes when I click on the blank section to reply post it presses one of the formatting icons when it opens up lol.
Also sometimes the POST button and MORE REPLY OPTIONS buttons go missing? wierd stuff.

I use the full forum layout on my Samsung Galaxy S mobile.... its easier to understand how it works if its the same as my desktop in full view mode :) There's a bit of resizing and scrolling to find the buttons but its still ok lol

I use the mobile skin on the phone hence the missing buttings.
I cant attach images etc.

The full forum theme is too hard to work with on the mobile in my opinion.
Sometimes the typing goes all crazy.
