Just wondering if anyone else is going to be doing any of the street sprint series this year at QR or lakeside? For those that don't know its held alternately at QR then Lakeside, your car has to be road legal an up to roadworthy standards, I done a few last year an had a ball, here's a link to the calendar an entry forms: http://www.queenslan....php?menu=qri05

Would be good to see some early evos and vr4s out there it tends to be mostly 7s onwards

I was out at QR yesterday but didn't run as it was raining and I hadn't pre-paid.

I will be at Lakeside on the 4th of Feb and will mostly run in the timeattack days.

It does look like QR is going to be quick with the new surface.

What times have you run on each track so far?

I assume your still chipping away at your car then Grant? Hope so would be good to see it running!!

Haven't had a good go at QR yet, only just got a decent set of rubber on for the last meet at Lakeside, In the last run I got down too a 1.09 but all going well I should have a fair bit more power this wknd so hopefully I should be able to do a bit better.

How bout you Hypo?

I am trying to get down to a 58.xx at Lakeside and a 57.5x at QR on the sprint circuit.

Currently at 59.8 Lakeside and 58.6 at QR. Would also like to run a sub 60 second on the clubman circuit.

If you haven't already entered the 4th at Lakeside with www.timeattack.com.au will probably give you more runs.

Don't be concerned about the cars. He groups you accordingly and the day is well run.

Just to be clear this is the 4th of Feb. There is a open sprint this weekend at Lakeside.

If your car is predominently a track car a good wheel alignment would be a added bonus and we have found that the RDA rotors don't last so either a Brembo option or something of that quality.

We are running Penrite Sin brake fluid and Ferodo DS3000 pads and have no issues with overheating or boiling fluid.

For the wheel alignment Ken at Accurate Suspension is pretty clued up.

I did the Time attack a few times and had an absolute ball and I was slow as, 1 13 on the clubman.

I recommend doing this to anyone it is just so much fun to drive as hard and fast as you like.

One word of caution it is highly addictive  .

Hopefully I'll be ready for round 1 had a small electrical issue with the car (it was touch an go weather it got set on fire for a few days), but it seems we have that sorted now but I haven't had a chance to get the timing re done and a couple of other things tidied up.

Are all the guys you go with in the 50s HYPO?

Both the evos that I head out with are running 56's at Lakeside. I am miles behind them though.
