Dump pipe tac'd and ready for welding.

Perfect fit! Hand cut (hack saw), gasless mig all at home. Not the most fun job but the challenge was interesting.

Update:

Exhaust nearly finished.
3.5" dump out to 4" before cat.

Yeah, not sure if I should paint them or not.

I don't like the ricer look.

I'm thinking race only so CF look for the track, stock parts on the street.....

Update:
17-07-2012

Some new bits:
- Moran 2350cc injectors
- EGT 4 channel kit
- Driveshaft hoop

Completed:
- Exhaust - dump pipe / screamer pipe / cat - fully tig welded.
- Exhaust manifold EGT bungs welded in.
- Exhaust manifold ports have been port matched to the head / gasket.
- Exhaust manifold heat wrap half done (not fun with the fibres flying around). The titanium wrap doesn't require water.
- Turbosmart PROGATE 50 disassembled and re-orientated to meet new hose fitting locations. Spring pressure is 17psi.

Still required:
- Die grind bits and pieces to clean up the exhaust internals after the mig / tig welding.
- Purchase more heat wrap
- Coat exhaust parts
- Heat wrap remaining exhaust parts
- Fit all parts
- Mount oil cooler
- Wire up EGT box to Motec SDL

Thank Rob! appreciate it mate.

The Noltec tops are great. I'm running Hotbits on my cars because they came with them. The Noltec's are more adjustable. For sale if you need a pair. They are now obsolete.

Exhaust manifold ready to bolt up.

Match ported
Egt fittings welded in each runner
Ceramic coated
Heat wrapped
Silicone sealed

Let's hope it preforms! The insulation is aimed to increase the exhaust velocity and decrease spool time.

Egt sensors also aligned and centred in each runner.

How much time do you spend in a parking lot with your performance car? If you do a lot of parking lot driving, and hang out in parking lots, chances are you are a ricer, go home and read import tuner. If you’re complaining about noise you should not be modifying your car. You should also consider no longer being a man, please hand in your genitals at the door.
