What are you talking about? Its in the lines. I'm just a shit welder. Not that big a deal really, it will hold, and do its job fine.

I have had a go with tuning the evo ecu with a 449 maf. I have moved around -60% above 1000htz on maf comp tables. The Ute is decidedly brighter now its around 12.5:1 AFR.
Its brighter, but still not fast...

Engine mount holding still...

Just been doing not much with the ute. Driving it here and there as main transport.
Got 8.9l/100km from it over 600km at easter.
Then 8.5l/100km over a 400km run a few days later. Obviously highway running at legalish limit.
Its filthy dirty, but im using it most days so its paying its way..

I have a squealy timing belt idler pulley...and banging front sway bar bushes.
Replacement bits are here just need to put them in before it throws parts out everywhere.
Oh, 8.8l/100km mixed 130km round town and 400km highway.

Also its developing a lean miss- running 17:1 at 3500rpm on cruise. Its ok cruising but doesnt richen up quick enough to not stumble when transitioning to acceleration.
Maybe a pipe has fallen off the intake..must have a look.

I think the single cam 1.5 4g15 used to get 7.9l/100km on a run, with skinny wheels.
