Wishful thinking Rob.

Unfortunately that didn't go to plan. Because our community is so much larger nowadays our database is bigger, meaning upgrades and conversions take longer, and in this case, time out a lot.

Long story short, we've rolled back to the old forum, but will be taking a second crack around 9am August 2nd -3GMT... Around 9pm August 2nd "General Australia Time". So once again, the intention is that by the time the morning rolls around on August 3rd, you will have a new forum to use.

Apologies for the inconvenience... Small hassles in the way of mega progress.

Plenty of little bugs to iron out, but welcome to the new forum my 4GT family! Apologies for the messed up first attempt and how long it has taken, I promise you, I've lost more sleep than you have collectively. :)

Enjoy it guys. Once I get the bugs ironed out I'll start to enable some of the cooler features for you all!

Often when a forum changes I feel a little unsettled for a while as I get used to it. Very rarely have I found it so comfortable from the beginning. You guys have done well. Simple, clean and relaxing to use. And you say there are more features to come? Im looking forward to them.

How much time do you spend in a parking lot with your performance car? If you do a lot of parking lot driving, and hang out in parking lots, chances are you are a ricer, go home and read import tuner. If you’re complaining about noise you should not be modifying your car. You should also consider no longer being a man, please hand in your genitals at the door.

I think all forum features are only working for the admin group at this stage!

Please be patient, we are looking into it at the moment. Worst case scenario = Jase will have to fix it when he awakens from his mighty slumber in the morning (Canada time) :)

Nice work, loving the bread crumb trail already.

Figured out "view new content" works the same as "view new posts"
HID stands for "High Intensity Discharge", or if you dont adjust them properly, "Hi I'm a Dickhead".

So I believe that some of you can't post to the forum. Don't fret, I haven't forgotten about you.

I believe since we imported so many posts yesterday, the forum believes you've been spamming the crap out of us. :)

Most of you are probably sleeping by now, and with any luck by the time you wake up and read this, you'll be able to reply/start threads/etc.

Once again, apologies for the inconvenience - but now that I am seeing it in front of me I'm sure that this new forum is going to be better than ever!

I'm going to go against the grain, not a fan of either new skins. Layout is still sweet, but white light grey, light blue is killing me.

The only thing that I find harder is to tell what posts are new in the forum sections. It is obvious that the topics balloon thing fade a little once read, but when you have a poll or a pinned topic it grabs too much attention.

Current projects: Mitsubishi ca5a/ce9a awd hybrid
