I will say meek is excellent Nicest bloke has a vast knowledge of the cars and very easy going.

But one down thing

He has no Dyno so cant tune the best for our cars that do have aftermarket computers !!

because i also need a really good mechanic in sydney's south west ???

Does anyone know what rotamotive is like?? hear there great with our cars???

Chris Meek doesn't have a Dyno at his workshop correct, But does dyno tune Factory Ecu'd evo's & gsr's, Chris just chooses not to be involved
with aftermarket ecu tuning and for a good reason.
Mitsu ecu's will protect the engine rather than relying on the Tuner of your aftermarket ecu to look after it, pretty simple.

Jason have you tried JEM (Just Engine Management) owner used to work for Haltech and has a couple of inhouse Dyno's and
knows alot of aftermarket brand ecu tuning and is out South West I'd recommend him definitely for your Tuning needs.

I just recently had my VR4 tuned by Adam at JEM. He did a great job considering he only had a microguess to deal with. Car's been running so much better since plus they let me know of a couple of problems i had. I would definitely recommend these guys as well.

And +1 for Chris and Pat Meek and the boys. Gave me some great advice concerning the VR4. Knows his stuff and he's always happy to have a chat about them.

Siret are you still using the factory knock control or by passing it due to the ecu your using?

for tuners, scott at insight motorsport is the best tuner in the state. most engine builders, and high performance workshops i know all highly reguard him as the best, even if they do not use him regularly. but you alsso have to pay for the best.
pesonally every car ive done has been sent to TODA Performance or JEM (heard he was selling up)

I honestly don't know. If i were to guess i'd say it's been by-passed. My car is getting another tune at JEM next week, i'll ask Adam.

Would totally agree. It's weird because i knew him as a kid, he lived down the road from my parents place. A couple of years later this dude in his sprinter kept waving at me whenever he drove past. Wasn't till i saw him filling up at a servo i knew it was him. His sprinter was off it's head too. 11 sec car and it sounded the business. It was in a zoom mag a couple of months ago, "50 best engine conversions".

I asked and was told the microtech doesn't have knock control capabilities so it's been bypassed. It's all up to the tuner...and if that fails, my ears.

I had another tuning place recommended to me today. Pulse at Menai are supposed to be very good and he apparently knows mitsubishi's very well. Anyone here ever gone to them?
